, 1. You promised Hackney Marsh wouldn't lose land to the Olympics. Arena Fields and White Hart Fields are both part of Hackney Marsh and have been taken for the Olympic Park. 2. The River Lea at Hackney Marsh is still tidal - an ecological treasure. The Olympics will it seems result in the tide being stopped lower down so this wonderful asset will be lost.
